Research, and more research

It is known that music does influence the brain, but I have found out that playing, or learning an instrument can also influence your brain. In especially children, it helps them distinguish between different sounds, and helps them with the auditory cortex part of their brain. It can also help them in their daily academics by  listening and learning with their brain.

If the person doesn't like learning the instrument or not fascinated, music would probably not help with learning, or academics. People that play an instrument, or are engaged are proven to find solutions better. A person's brain listens to a song, and as it does, that person's brain tries to predict the timing, and the next beat of the song. As a person listens to music, the brain tries to create "images" or emotions that connect with the song throughout the actual song.

Listening to music could also enhance the senses such as communication, listening, and observing.
Music can enhance your memory or, can connect to a person's memory. studies have also shown that music can rebuild or repair brain damage. Music can mostly repair the left side, of ones, brain because it is known as the creative side.
